Section I – Information on privacy
Data controller
The controller of the processing of personal data collected through the Site, or through any other contact channel used by the user, is DPG Deutsche Parken GmbH (hereinafter, “DPG“), with registered office in Alsterchaussee 17, D-20149 Hamburg (Germany), VAT number DE 302 076 159, belonging to the group [●], (hereinafter the “Group“), which autonomously decides on the purposes and methods of treatment, as well as on the security procedures to be applied to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data.
Methods of providing the user’s personal data
DPG processes the personal data provided by the user (hereinafter, “Personal Data”):
a) by filling in the appropriate spaces in the “Contacts” section of the Site;
b) through any other communication channel used by the user (e.g. email), including other contact references found on the Site or elsewhere (e.g. sending to company headquarters, corporate email addresses, PEC address).
Purpose of the processing – Optional or mandatory nature of the provision of Personal Data
DPG processes the Personal Data of the user exclusively for the following purposes:
a) to allow the registration of the user on the Site in order to provide and manage the various services offered;
b) to respond to the user’s requests, sent through the “Contacts” section of the Site or through other communication channels, in relation to the services of DPG and the Group, to promotional initiatives, or to the contents and functions of the Site.
The provision of Personal Data for the aforementioned purposes is mandatory so that DPG can meet the needs of the user in relation to the requests made by the same. The omitted, partial or incorrect provision of Personal Data makes not possible to provide the service, as they are necessary for the execution of the requested service.
Processing methods
In relation to the purposes indicated above, the processing of Personal Data takes place through the use of manual, IT and telematic tools with logics strictly related to the purposes themselves and in any case designed to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the Personal Data. No Personal Data of the user are used in order to carry out automated decision-making processes.
Specific security measures are put in place to prevent the loss of Personal Data, as well as the illegal or incorrect use thereof and the unauthorized access thereto. These security measures are adequate in order to minimize the risks of destruction or loss – even accidental – of Personal Data, as well as the risks of unauthorized access or unauthorized processing, or of processing not compliant with the processing purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy. Nonetheless, DPG cannot guarantee that the measures adopted for the security of the Site and the transmission of Personal Data exclude any risk of unauthorized access to, or dispersion of Personal Data by, the devices belonging to the user. The user is therefore invited to verify that his/her device is equipped with adequate software for the protection of the transmission of data on the network, both incoming and outgoing (e.g. updated antivirus systems) and that his/her Internet service provider has adopted suitable measures for the security of data transmission on the network (e.g. firewalls and spam filters).
Subjects to whom the Personal Data may be communicated
DPG is allowed to communicate the Personal Data of the user in its possession to the subjects to whom the communication must be made in compliance with an obligation established by law, by a regulation or by EU legislation.
The Personal Data of the user may be communicated, limited to the Personal Data necessary for the performance of the assigned tasks, to the employees or collaborators of DPG, or of the other Group companies. These subjects are specifically authorized to process the Personal Data and have received adequate operating instructions and precise prescriptions for the processing and the protection of the confidentiality of Personal Data.
Personal Data may be disclosed to IT service providers (such as companies in charge of managing the platforms for the provision of DPG services), to providers of archiving services (such as companies offering hosting services relating to the Site’s activities) or to providers of professional services (such as companies in charge of providing services instrumental to DPG’s activity) which may act, as appropriate, as data processors or independent data controllers.
The updated and complete list of the subjects to whom the Personal Data of the user are communicated, as well as the related data processors, can be obtained by sending a written request to the address privacy@avrioparking.com.
Any transfer of the Personal Data of the user within and outside the European Union will take place in compliance with the appropriate guarantees for the purposes of the transfer itself, in accordance with the applicable laws.
The user has the right to request and obtain a copy of the Personal Data held abroad and to obtain information about the place where such Personal Data are stored by sending a written request to the address privacy@avrioparking.com.
Duration of processing and storage of Personal Data
Personal Data are processed and stored for the time necessary to perform the service requested by the user. Thereafter, Personal Data will be deleted, anonymized or aggregated.
By way of example, for the management of the requests by the user through the “Contacts” section of the Site, or through another contact channel used by the user, the storage of the related Personal Data will take place for the time strictly necessary to process such requests.
The user can request at any time the interruption of the processing or the cancellation or limitation of the processing of his/her Personal Data. However, DPG reserves the right to hold the Personal Data for a further period if this is necessary for any disputes, requests by the competent authorities or pursuant to the applicable laws.
Links to other websites
In the Site, there may be links to other websites managed by subjects other than DPG. Due to the fact that DPG does not control or monitor these sites and their contents, DPG cannot be held responsible for the contents of these sites and the rules they adopt, including with regard to privacy and the processing of Personal Data while browsing the Site. The user is therefore invited, if he/she connects to these sites through the links present on the Site, to carefully read the relevant privacy policies. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third parties’ websites.
In particular, this Privacy Policy does not apply to third parties’ social media platforms. The Site provides links
to these platforms only to facilitate the user in sharing the contents of the Site and to facilitate hyperlinking. The activation of these links does not imply any recommendation or reporting by DPG for the access and the browsing on these platforms, nor any guarantee regarding the contents, the services or the goods supplied and sold by them to the users.

Section II – Extended information on cookie
Use of cookies
This site uses cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the procedures and improve the browsing experience of users. This section provides detailed information on the type of cookies used, the methods of their use within the Site and on their management by DPG and the user.
What are cookies?
Cookies are lines of text acting as computer markers sent by a server to a user’s device (generally to the internet browser) when the user accesses a given page on a website. Cookies are automatically stored by the user’s browser and retransmitted to the server that generated them every time the user accesses the same page.
Cookies have many useful purposes. For example:
- Cookies can remember the login credentials so that the user doesn’t have to enter them every time he/she accesses a service.
- Cookies help the owner of the site and third parties to understand which parts of the services are the most popular as they help to see which pages and functions users access and how much time they spend on the pages. By analysing this type of information, it is possible to better adapt the website services and offer the user a better experience.
- Cookies help the site owner and third parties to understand which advertisements the user has seen in order to adapt a communication and offer a more pertinent service to the user.
- Cookies help the site owner and third parties to provide the user with pertinent contents and advertising by collecting information on the use of the services and other websites and applications.
First-party cookies are cookies created by the site the user is visiting: only that site can read them. In addition, a website can use external services that also create their own cookies, called third-party cookies.
Persistent cookies are saved on the user’s computer and are not automatically deleted when the user closes the browser, unlike session cookies, which are deleted when the browser is closed.
Browsers are often set up to automatically accept cookies. However, users can change the default configuration so to disable or delete cookies (from time to time or once and for all) with the consequence, though, that the optimal use of some areas of the Site may be precluded. The user can also check the type of cookies stored on his/her browser and remove or further preclude their installation by changing the cookie settings of the browser.
What cookies does the Site use?
The Site uses only technical and analytical cookies. The Site does not use profiling and marketing cookies, social cookies or third-party cookies (with the exception of Google Analytics cookies).
Technical cookies
These cookies are necessary for browsing the Site and for the use of its features, for example to allow the correct viewing of the Site. The data thus collected are processed to ensure that the user can upload the Site, that this can be verified and, if necessary, to allow the restoration of the security and functions of the Site and the server. The collection of this data does not require the user’s consent. However, it is not possible to use the Site without collecting this data and therefore disabling these cookies does not allow the user to browse the Site and use its features.
Analytical cookies
Analytical cookies are used to obtain information on the use of the Site by users. These information may be associated with user’s details such as the domain or country of origin or the browser used. However, the information are analyzed in an aggregate way, without identifying the user. These information can be used for statistical analysis in order to improve the use of the site, to develop general communication strategies in favor of the users considered overall and to optimize the contents of the Site according to the wishes of the users. These cookies can be sent from the site itself or can be provided by third party web analytics tools.
The Site uses only Google Analytics cookies with activation of IP anonymization. This means that within the EU or the EEA, the IP address of the user is anonymized by Google. Only in exceptional cases, the user’s complete IP address is transmitted to Google LLC in the United States and is therefore anonymized there.
Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. The European Commission has certified the adequacy of the protection provided by the EU-US privacy shield.
The data provided by Google Analytics are stored for [●] months. Google Analytics cookies are valid for 14
months. The Site also uses persistent cookies to memorise if the user has consented or denied the use of Google Analytics cookies as there is a legitimate interest of DPG to prevent the cookie banner from being displayed every time the user visits the Site if this is not necessary. The legal basis for these permanent cookies is art. 6.1 letter f) of the GDPR. Persistent cookies are stored for up to 14 months and are subsequently deleted. The user’s consent or refusal to use Google Analytics is archived for 24 months.
The user is advised to check the Google Analytics page relating to the use of cookies: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/cookie-usage.
The user can prevent the processing of data generated by Google Analytics cookies also by downloading and installing the plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl. An effective opt-out cookie for the Site is present in the browser used by the user. If the user intends to restore the Google Analytics cookies in the browser used by the user, he/she will have to use the above link again. If the user uses multiple devices or browsers, it is necessary to use the aforementioned link for each browser on each device.
